Your Health
Personalised nutrition programmes & workshops
Are you tired of battling with IBS, digestive or gut health issues, peri-menopause or menopause symptoms? Struggling to find restful sleep or overcome anxiety?
I provide personalised nutrition programmes using natural, holistic approaches to tackle your health concerns; investigating the root cause of your symptoms & incorporating targeted food and lifestyle adjustments – so that you can live your best life again.
My approach to your health
I’ll listen to your health worries and work with you to resolve them. No quick fix meal plans or fancy formulas: apart from the fact that everyone has different budgets and tastes, my focus is to work with you to help you understand the best foods to eat and avoid (and when!), so that you can live life to the full.
Everyone’s journey is different; everyone’s symptoms are different: some people might skip through their life with hardly a concern, but others seem to struggle with everything. It’s knowing how to conquer it that counts.
Do I need to see you in person?
Will I have to give-up gluten, bread, pasta or cheese?
Should I change my diet before I come to you?
(p.s. I’m not looking for what macronutrients you eat, how much calcium or vitamin D you eat each day – don’t worry!)
Gut Health
Unpleasant digestive symptoms are not the only sign that your gut health needs some love – 90% of diseases are linked to poor gut health. The health of your gut can affect your immune system, mental health and well-being, your skin (think psoriasis, acne or eczema), inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and even weight management. By optimising your gut health through nutrition, you can have a positive impact on your daily life.
It’s knowing where to start and how to reach that nirvana that’s the difficult part – that’s where my Gut Health Programme comes in.
Menopause & Perimenopause
It’s tough when your world is turned upside down by your hormones: suddenly, what you eat and drink move sharply into focus. Knowing what to do to avoid what feels like inevitable weight gain, hot flushes, increasing anxiety, overthinking everything or simply to keep you on an even keel becomes a minefield.
A personalised programme of easy food and lifestyle changes is the most effective way to set you up for the menopause and beat your menopause symptoms.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Have you been following a restricted diet hoping that it would solve things or avoiding foods, but it still hasn’t made a difference? Here’s a secret: it’s not always about removing things from your diet; sometimes it’s the combination of foods you eat, including more variety into your meals or switching from one type of fruit or vegetable to another that gives you the relief you need.
We’ll make a bespoke plan for you, starting with just 2 or 3 simple things to cut out or add into your meals, so that you get relief straight away.
– about your therapist
Meet Virginia
I am a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (RCNHC, MBANT) with a special focus on digestive issues, gut health, peri-menopause/menopause, sleep and anxiety. My clinics are online.
My journey into the world of nutrition stems from my personal struggles with IBS and migraines during my twenties, as well as the exhaustion experienced whilst balancing a busy legal career and motherhood in my thirties. These challenges ignited my passion for understanding how food and lifestyle factors can significantly and positively transform an individual’s well-being.
With two children of my own, I value the importance of a balanced and active lifestyle: I love being outdoors – in my garden, walking or playing sport – and travelling; exploring new food, flavours and cultures.
My Approach
As an advocate for easy, delicious yet nutritious meals, I love to empower others through informative yet practical consultations and workshops, gently guiding my clients towards a better understanding of the enormous impact nutritious food & better lifestyle practices can have on their wellbeing.
My Process
The first thing we do is to start with a chat. Getting to know more about you, your lifestyle, and your eating habits is the key foundation of your personalised plan. I offer a free consultation space for you to ask the questions you may have, and then we can get started.

Can I work with you if I’m taking HRT or prescription medications?
Yes – we can work alongside your HRT and medications: I carefully check for any potential interactions between foods or supplements with HRT and prescription medications for each of my clients.
Will I need to take any tests - blood, stool or food intolerance tests?
This very much depends on your symptoms and your situation. Sometimes I do recommend functional testing – mostly stool testing which you can take at home – however, only where I believe this will be of benefit to you. With a functional test result, my approach can be much more targeted and specific, leading to faster and more personalised results for you. Functional testing may be recommended to assess nutritional imbalances and inform your personalised diet and lifestyle recommendations to support your wellbeing. All functional test recommendations are personalised to you and are at an additional cost, if you wish to go down this route.
Do I need to come and see you in person?
No. All of my consultations are run online, using zoom. You can be sitting in the comfort of your own home or office when working with me. However, I will ask you to have your video turned on during our consultations, as this helps me to get to know you better (and I will always have my video on too!).
How do I pay for my programme of consultations?
If you require a payment plan to spread the cost of your Programme, you can pay your Programme Fees in two instalments: the first instalment is due at least 48 hours before your initial consultation & the second instalment is due at least 48 hours before your first follow-up consultation.
Please note that your Programme is not confirmed until payment (or your first instalment, as appropriate) is received.
Should I change my diet before I come to you?
No – please don’t make any changes! It’s best if you keep your diet as normal as possible before your first consultation. The quickest way for me to solve how you are feeling is for me to see exactly what you are eating and drinking and how you are feeling at your first consultation. I won’t judge you on what you eat: my sole focus is working out what’s causing you to feel the way you do and solving it once and for all.
(p.s. I’m not looking for what macronutrients you eat, how much calcium or vitamin D you eat each day – don’t worry!)
Will I have to cut out gluten, bread, pasta or cheese forever?
Coffee and tea can be a cause of poor sleep or anxiety, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stop drinking it all and forever. Sometimes it’s the amount of these foods or drinks that can be causing the problem – and it’s my job to help you navigate those and suggest replacements or what to add into your meals instead.
Will I need to take supplements?
This very much depends on your symptoms and your situation. Sometimes I do recommend supplements, but only those which I believe will benefit you and help you reach your goal in a more targeted and quicker way and, most importantly, only if you wish to do so. I always try to keep supplement recommendations to a minimum and within your budget range, recommending good quality supplements from a recommended, online supplier. You will receive a 10% discount on any personalised supplements I recommend.
Do you work with children?
Yes. I generally work with children once they have reached around 7 or 8 years old, provided you feel that your child is able to communicate their symptoms with me and/or how they are feeling. I will work very slowly with your child and would ask you to present in the consultation. Your child does not always need to be present for each consultation: however, I would like to see them for at least part of the first consultation.

what my clients say
Seeing Virginia was the BEST decision! She recommended testing & combined with her excellent knowledge, Virginia was able to explain why my symptoms were happening: after following her targeted advice, I have had no further problems & am so grateful. I thought my previous diet was quite healthy & wasn’t sure any changes would make such a significant difference – I cannot recommend Virginia more highly.
You can literally say anything to Virginia – she doesn’t judge, goes at your pace, is a lot of fun and soooo knowledgeable.
Try Virginia before you reach for pills or think that how you feel cannot be changed by nutrition.
